Im so gutted and worried, my dog is having surgery in about 45 minutes to remove an unidentified blockage. If its something that she ate by mistake and she pulls through the anaesthetic she'll be ok (shes nearly 13 tho so the anaesthetic itself is risky) but if its a tumour then they wont wake her up again because that would mean chemo and shes too wee and old to cope with that really and would be in a lot of pain. Her wee tummy was very swollen and she couldnt eat. I feel really bad because we had to leave her at the dog hospital and Im worried that she'll be all by herself and afraid and might be spending her last hours with strangers in a place she doesnt know. Im sure you've all heard me witter on about how much we love her at some point and I just cant stop crying atm. Whatever happens we should know soon.

We've had her since I was 11 so shes been around for some of my best and worst experiences and I'm really not ready to say bye to her.
edit-she just came out of surgery, it appears she swallowed a peach pit which became lodged in her gut. if she comes around ok we might have her back tomorrow. *hoping hard*

Glad to hear it's not a tumour, I'll be hoping she comes out of the anaesthetic ok xx
