hmm, another week another blog, since I last wrote Obama got in (yay!) I did grocery shopping online for the first time and I drank my weight in sambuca with darklas (after which I had to spend a whole day lying very still).
So far the work on my dissertation is very slow but its at least going. blah. actually a whole lot of fuck all has happened this week. Ooh, I joined match.com in an effort to meet some people in places other than the pub (as my personality when drunk can range from confusing to offensive.) and try to go on some dates. Normally I'm quite happy single but theres something about the scottish winter that says 'curl up with someone' rather than 'get out there'. Also, perhaps if I had some great strong lad about the place I wouldn't have to get groceries delivered because I cant carry much up the stairs.
I remember why I started this post. Right, So my friend had been given the letter D by her friend. And she had to make a list of ten things begining with the letter D that she liked. Get a suitable photo and post a blog about it.
I commented on it. So she gave me the letter C.
1. Cats, they're lovely, even the slightly irritating online phenomenon of Lolcats.
2. Cate Blanchett, (yes, you would)
3. Cake, this is kind of a no brainer. Cake=brilliant. Its sweet tasty yummyness.
4. Crayons, without which colouring in would be rubbish. (and which I used to chew on at nursery school
)
5. Camping, I actually dont like camping very much, but I admire it in other people as a brave thing to do.
6. Chocolate, for reasons see- cake. oh, and candy, in fact.. Confectionery.
7. Cuddles. Everyone likes these, they are also free which helps a great deal.
8. The cameo and cinemas in general, without them I would feel lonely and uncultured.
9. Chianti, mmmm. no explanation needed. It just tastes so very lovely.
10. and finally, Coffee, Im not really meant to have this, it makes me antsy but still, its one of the things I like best. Possibly because im not meant to have it it becomes all the more attractive.
