Well, there I was on the train this morning having a wee bit of a feel sorry for myself and a (patented) sarahpanic about going to uni and my funny moods and etc. So instead of going to school I came home and started work here went to check my uni email (thinking perhaps I would get a telling off for not going today) and there was an email telling me about funeral arrangements for one of the guys I started uni with three years ago. It completely blind sided me, I actually knew the guy quite well in my first and second years at uni although our contact has drifted a bit lately (well I doubt it'll get any better now either.) we worked together on a couple of projects andhe used to always invite me to go rides on his motorcycle and stuff and we used to smoke together and complain an=bout things. and I just think, fuck, i was sitting getting all consumed by my stupid crazy and its really not all that important at all. Im just really shocked and quite upset, I mean, I dont even know what happened him yet. Fuck. And you really dont expect young people to just go dying like that, really, do you. (Although he was sick now I come to think of it but maybe he was run down or soemthing I dont know.) His funeral is on thursday, im not sure yet if i'll go.

Erm, I know this doesnt mean a whole lot to you as none of you ever met him (his name is steve by the way, but I dont really want to put his name next to death because it makes it all more, true, and i dont feel like it is. really. sort of) but thanks for listening. anyway, have a good day, and go give someone you like a hug, because apparently people are allowed to just die all over the place.
