hiya.

last night was a bit of a mixt-blessing / nightmare. i met up with my booty call pal vanessa. she told me to meet her at this pub and see a band. she wouldn't tell me what band it was or what kind of music, just that i'd like it. well i get to this place, already a bit drunk, and pay the damn cover to get in and it's a goddamn FUNK BAND AND I HATE FUNK ESPECIALLY WHITE BOYS WHO THINK AFROS ARE FUNNY AND SAY "AWWWW YEAH" LIKE THEY'RE FUCKING BARRY AND LEVON FROM THE STATE. anyway it's hella crowded with these, you know, like, normal boring girls and guys, who are nice folks but nobody i'd like to hang out with.

so we leave and go to the metalhead bar and meet up with my sister and her boyfriend. i spill a drink on this big guy and he's nice about it and won't let me buy him a drink...in line for the bathroom i turn to some guy and say, "goddamnit i hate life," just to be funny. and this dude comes out of the bathroom and says "hey! i hate life too! i was just thinking that to myself!" after i pee he comes up to me and asks if i play any instruments and if i want to start a band with him. so i said okay.

then, this is funny. i fall asleep at vanessa's house and during the night i sleepwalk and get stuck in her closet for a few minutes trying to find the bathroom (thankfully i found it).

so i give last night a 6 out of 10: awesome pals, i got some booty, but it was an awful band and i spent too much money.
