My grandfather...
When he was in highschool, his guidance counsellor and principal told him that he would be a chicken farmer.
He left New Hampshire and took flying lessons. He entered the millitary just in time to be the first plane to touch down in the Berlin air lift. He then went on to co-pilot Air Force One. He flew Kennedy to Dallas, and Kennedy's body back.
He retired from the air force and became a real-estate agent, then the manager of a bank. He retired from the bank and then spent the rest of his days as a farmer... A farmer who raised chickens.
I figure that someone might find this interesting...
