I have to tell you, extended vacations can be boring. I mean wake up early, clean, eat, watch a movie, possibly some TV, eat some more, have a drink and go to bed. Wow, can that be exhausting.

To those of you that went back to work this week, I'm sorry. Sucks to be you.

Boy did I have a wonderful time at home for the holidays. One of the more memorable visits. Mikey made vegan Irish Cream and I must say...kudos...it's delicious.

OK, so Tofurkey day proved to be more interesting than I thought or at least what I remember of it. A true moment of pride when you get black out drunk whilst among family and forget what actually transpired. Ok, now that the election has come and gone, I'm back. I slowly progressed through all the stages of grieving. I've come to one conclusion:

The damage that Bush and his administration will do to government, the environment and society will ensure me employment for the rest of my life.

Is that really a happy face or a sad face?

It's been an exhausting last couple of weeks. The worst part of it is that it's pretty much self-induced. Hopefully all of the extra work will be worth it in the end.

I had a wonderful weekend visiting my gransparents and getting to see my girlfriend's hometown on the banks of the Ohio River. It was definitely a real, downhome taste of good ol' fashioned Americana.
