Randomness Part XI

~ Walking through the Treasure Island department store makes me want to own a house so very badly.

~ Walk through Home Depot makes me want to build a house so very badly. God that store makes me feel like a man.

~ Most recently viewed movies:

Sideways - The best part of this movie is the wine talk. It makes me want to get into wine so very badly.

Spanglish - Makes me want to "do" a latina so very badly. Also, I love Tea Leoni in this movie. I mean...I hate her character....but Tea did a kick ass job making me hate her.

~ I need to get a hobbie and/or develop a practical skill. I have none. NONE.

~ I can't stop listening to The New Pornographers. That band is like crack. You've heard of "bubble gum pop"? Well, they are "crack pop". It's a whole new level of catchy tunesmanship. Ted Leo is of a similiar genre.

~ There used to be a giant picture of the Pope hanging up in my house as a child, along with that foot print in the sand story. I don't remember how or when or why it happened, but they weren't there my whole childhood. One day they were gone and I didn't even notice it. Either my mother suddenly gave up on god, perhaps due to loosing her brother to AIDS, or perhaps they just didn't go with the new decor. hmm.
