Since few people read my journal, I think it's safe to post a few things that people do on this site that annoy me. I've been here almost a year and I've been a pretty silent member. But I've been quite an active lurker. I won't point out any names, even though there are specific examples of these people. But....you know....I'm not that brave. Here's a short laundry list:
1. Know-it-alls. I hate them in real life and I hate them here.
2. People who put things like, "TV is evil", or "I don't watch TV, I like my brain cells" or "I don't watch life, I live it" in their favorite TV show entry on their profile. It's such a cynical and inaccurate point of view to say people that watch TV are mindless drones. And ironically, to buy into this idea that watching TV is for mindless drones is sort of being a mindless drone yourself. I'm sure there are people that watch it too much, but for most, it's a nice leisurely activity that is indulged in once in a while. Quit your self-important, pretentious bullshit.
3. Speaking of self-important, pretentious bullshit, I hate reading journal entries about how you're the only person that seems to have figured out how to appreciate the small things in life. I'm fucking enlightened too asshole.
On that note....I'm going to go meditate.

In fact, I was on a little road trip a couple of weeks ago and watched "Elimidate" in my motel room with great enjoyment, so I don't think anybody could consider me an anti-TV snob.
I'm sorry to say I have been accused of being a know-it-all, though.
