I had 9 hours of school today, the longest day of my school week, and I forgot to bring my mother bleedin cigarettes!! And for some odd reason, everyone I bummed from was smoking Marlboro Ultra Lights. What the fuck is that about??? You pay $7 a pack to smoke air??? Que??? You're not going to die any slower smoking ultra lights. Waste your money on some god damn nicotene please.
I had two quizzes today and I failed them both horribly. I think this is the first semester where I was a slacker from day 1. Usually I'm really excited about school beginning and I'm a diligent little student for about the first 2 months. After mid-terms I begin to slack more and more. By finals time, I'm not even opening my books anymore. Hopefully this semester I'm just going ass backwards and I'll have some momentum by the time finals roll around. Otherwise, I am so completely screwed.
Hmmm...what else can I bore you with?
I finally caught "Martin Scorcese Presents The Blues" on PBS last night. I'm not sure how many installments I've missed...but it's been at least a couple. I'm so glad I managed to catch the Skip James piece. What a frickin piercing voice that man has. Some more contemporary artists were doing covers for each of the segments; Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams were highlights. But I think I enjoyed Beck's cover of "I'm So Glad" the most. I hope the series comes out on DVD....I'm sure it will....something else to waste my hard earned cashe on.
Thus ends my longest journal entry ever.
