I'd like to take an opportunity to explain myself to strangers and other pervs I've met through this site. (I love you all.)

In 5 days (January 22, in fact) I'll be well on my way to the east coast.

I'm going not for anyone but myself. I've had a fantasy to live in New York City for some time now... and I'm at a place in my life where I can. So I'm doing it.

I have some family in Pennsylvania and some casual friends in New York City (casual == they never dress up).

I'm a mixed bag: elated and heartsick - both at the same time, it's bittersweet and I'm loving it.

I come back to LA in Feburary to either
a.) get the rest of my stuff because I've secured a job and/or an apartment
b.) to write NYC off as another vacation I've taken this year and a great place to hang out

I really do hope it's the first. Cheer me on.

One friend wrote me these awesome words today:
There really is something great about you.
I hope I stay in touch with you long enough to see what becomes of you.

So fucking stay in touch, dumbshits. I really do like you, pervs.
