I had a dream wherein you met me for a tryst down in the market. You were coming down from the highlands and I made my way up from the coast, and in the little town nestled in the bosom of both we met. We held hands and made out by the stalls selling incense and saints for the curanderas. We passed by Octavio Paz selling aquas frescas and I bought you agua de jamaica; you giggled until you faded away, and I woke up.

Goddamn, I wish I had you near.

interesting is a word for the dreams, too bizarre to hold in a waking mind is another. mostly when i tell people dreams, they look at me absently (when they weren't interested enough to follow what i said) or horrified/confused (when they actually try).
