Friday was a pretty cool night. I went to a Texas Hold'em tournament at some guys house with a friend of mine that plays. It's $22 to enter the tournament and you can rebuy for the first hour of the tournament. After that everyone plays until there is one winner and they pay out the top 7 places. They also have a FreeRoll before the tournament.
A FreeRoll is a fast playing 1 table tournament. with 8-12 players. The blinds go up every 8 min so the table only takes about 30-45 min to play. The winner from each table gets a free entry into the tournament and 1 free rebuy.
Anyway, I wont eh FreeRoll table so I didnt have to pay to get in the tournament. I ended up finishing 2nd Paying out about $250. Not bad for a nights haul.
