I am the luckiest man on earth... but only when it really matters. If I go into a casino when I'm financially stable (you know, once every 3 years or so) I will lose my proverbial ass. But if I go and drop my last nickel on 3 card poker when the rent is a week past due and my next job doesn't start for a month, I will hit a straight flush every time.

It's handy.

Last night I got pulled over for doing 75 in a 60 zone, plus having one tail light and one brake light out, and I didn't get a ticket! I guess the cop felt bad... I was pretty embarrassed about not having my license with me.

I went to see Genitorturers the other night, and for a band called Genitorturers, it was pretty boring. And their shtick was corny. I was disappointed that I sat through 3 bands to get there... slaves on dope was okay, pretty standard metal in the year 2003, Ion was the cheesiest thing I've ever seen... pro: they didn't seem too serious about it, con: they weren't very good, Hansel und Gretyl were the best, and not just because the bass player and lead singer are incredibly hot. They too were corny, but at least the music was good.
Not worth $14.
