Well its been a really nice couple of days the band "The Stabs" from Australia (kind of Birthday Partyish) have been staying at our place and they were an awesome bunch of folk. Played with them Thursday at The Stork Club to where we went last night to see Drunk Horse and DMBQ- I gots to say Drunk Horse have gone a long way from the jam rock Ive seen them do a couple of years back. Their solid, tight, progresive and rockin to say the least- DMBQ (from Japan) take what Drunk Horse do to psychotic Japanese extremes. The Stork is probably the only club in Oakland where people are allowed to smoke indoors and my throat is suffering for it today. Going out tonight to see the Stabs play the Hemlock.Check them out
