i am such a peter gabriel geek. hardcore. i have two of his live performance dvds and the entire music videos collection. but i don't go for that genesis stuff. i go for the slightly (only very slightly) more accessible solo work. it's still very experimental. and i love it that way.
my bf is trying to get me into genesis. but i fear that's a gateway drug to a ton of crazy prog madness that i'm not down for. i may listen to what the pretentious folk listen to, but i don't want to slip up and become one.
i know i have to stop being such a submissive worker and draw some boundaries. maybe it's cause i've got no expression for my sub tendencies that i've become such a work slave. sigh...vanilla by proxy in a big way. but love demands sacrifice (spoken like a true masochist

he downloads more music than he would ever have time to listen to if he listened to music 24-7 365.
he has an entire separate multi gig harddrive of all music.
i have no idea how or where he gets it though. i sure hope he's not paying for all of it.
but somehow i wouldn't put it past him...
