Saw Hellboy last night. It was goOd. I said "holy shit" many times. Lots of squirmy, slimey thingies in that movie. Speaking of squirmy, Selma Blair makes me so. I'm so glad they chose her instead of your typical glossy, over-used actress. I think Hellboy had the best special effects I've seen. Cuz there were a lot and NOTHING looked fake.. which is refreshing. So I enjoyed the movie but it also made me sad..

In 3 months there is this Will Smith movie coming out. Imagine THAT. Anyway, his facial hair is a little different than usual and he looks damn goOd. Its called I-Robot and it looks new and original in subject matter and KICKASS too.

The Punisher comes out in 4 days! I will see it over the weekend for sure! Everytime I see the trailer I clench my fist, raise my arm into the air, and yell "YES!" I'm a slapnut. But Uma you will have to wait cuz Thomas needs me more. wink

Which means I'll probably miss her altogether cuz the following week Man on Fire comes out. Not only is that a kickaSs name, but its directed by Tony Scott! And Denzel is PISSED! I must see it.

I've decided that going to the movies after 10 oclock at night is the shit. Basically cuz I can make it by then. I don't know why I never thought of this before! I'm up all night for christ's sake, its not like I'd be sleepy in the theatre. But will I be able to continuously find friends who will partake in this with me? We shall see..

That is apparently all.

Spiel... Spiel... Spiel! Spiel! Spielspiel!

With the exception of most adaptations of Stephen King novels, I usually find it somewhat interesting to see how a book is transformed into a movie.

There are, of course, exceptions to that. There are some books that I'm very wary of seeing turned into films, just as there are some books that I think must be made into films.

Anyway, I think I, Robot looks like it'll be a good movie.

And in case you're wondering, the only Stephen King books that have been turned into films that I have liked are Stanley Kubrick's version of The Shining (though the one King directed was alright, too) and Secret Window.
