I realized today that I made a small yet very important error the other day. I said something in Latin at my friends' wedding, and it was wrong. So it actually means something other than what it was intended to. Oops.
Just when I was all happy about giving up on the girl with the eyes at work, she has to go and start a conversation with me today. Probably just wishful thinking here, but it seemed to me that it was like "hey, I hardly ever get to talk to you at work, so now that we're both off in this corner alone and have a chance to talk, I'm gonna start talking to you about whatever comes to mind."
Unfortunately I was hungover (or more accurately, still drunk.) So I don't think I made for very good conversation. Oh well.
