Okay now dont yell at me but this is my blog from Tribe.net copied and pasted. I dont have time to write different ones but this is how I'm feeling today so just deal.....
I like to think that I have two personalities. Think of it like a Jekel and Hyde only for the sake of copyright infringment we'll call them Tuffy and Katie. Tuffy is the one who let Ashley talk her into going to Kodiak Jack's tonight despite the fact that she has work at 8am. Tuffy is the one who finds herself on Ocean beach at 5am on a thurs morning after drinking all night at a Bonndage club. Tuffy is the one who decides that she is gonna go to Vegas by herself to a rockabilly weekend. Tuffy can go for days at a time on 4+ hours of sleep a night. Tuffy is the one who agreed to do the Casa De Fruta faire becuase she heard that there were good parties. Tuffy goes to Gun Safety classes and digs the bruises she gets from paintballing. Tuffy's biggest party nights are not on the weekend and Tuffy would rather cut through the bullshit and on a first date, fuck/make out and THEN go to a dinner and a movie.
Katie on the other hand....she doesnt like pain. She loves to sleep late and go to bed early. Katie likes intimate dinner parties with good friends and watching Lord of the Rings for the 20 billionth time. The sound of a gunshot scares Katie and so do STD's and getting pregnant. In fact those are two of her worst fears, and she thinks about it a lot. Katie likes to keep her room clean and on hot days, wash her car in her bathing suit. Katie wishes she went riding more, lots more and wishes she had more time to do the things that she needs to get done like go to court and pay traffic violations.
Heres the problem: The only time Katie gets to do ANYTHING is when Tuffy is too exhausted to fight her off. When Katie wants to do something she has to hit Tuffy over the head and drag her into the closet. I wish Tuffy would just go to the closet sometimes of her own accord without a fight but she never does. I'm sure with time Tuffy will just die off of exhaustion and Katie will become CEO of the company but I guess until then I will have to deal with Tuffy at the healm of this ship.

What you have to figure out is that you are in control of them, if you want to be. It sounds as if you are letting them run amok and control you. Which is ironic as they are both manifestations of you. It's just a matter of reigning in Tuffy so that Katie can have a chance to balance. Tuffy is not bad, she's the wild side and impulsive. Katie is also not the stick in the mud, she just thinks things through. So, when Tuffy wants some thing, just ask Katie what she thinks, and, if need be, compromise.
Damn I'm old.
