There was some mad flooding Saturday. We went out to see a friend that lives about ten minutes away. It wasn't even raining when we got in the car but by the time we got to his place the water in the street was half way to my knees. We ended up staying at D.'s all night because the roads were blocked off.
I *finally* went to have my dress cut up to fit little ol' me. It was almost an hour of standing in front of a giant window being stuck with pins by tiny asian women. Who, by the way, told me I had to wear a padded push up bra because my tits weren't big enough to hold the damn thing up. Well, they didn't say tits. In any case they're cutting about two inches off each side. Stef wants me to take the extra stuff they cut off so she can send it to her lame ass cousin as if to say "you don't want to be in my wedding? fine we'll put some one half your size in your fucking dress." I think that is a low blow. But not as low as dropping out of your cousin's wedding two weeks before she walks down the aisle.
