Just stepped off the pirarie after a month of dust, baked beans and cordite. A bit confused and sun-burnt still but getting my head together.

Got 'promoted' from controlling the Artillery pieces to recce. That means the next fire mission I call down will be in Afghan. O crap.

Anyway, once I've washed down the vehicles and picked the gophers out of my hair, I'll be going on R+R about next wednesday so need to do some networking. I'll be in touch shortly, Calgarians...
