Just stepped off the pirarie after a month of dust, baked beans and cordite. A bit confused and sun-burnt still but getting my head together.

Got 'promoted' from controlling the Artillery pieces to recce. That means the next fire mission I call down will be in Afghan. O crap.

Anyway, once I've washed down the vehicles and picked the gophers out of my hair, I'll be going on R+R about next wednesday so need to do some networking. I'll be in touch shortly, Calgarians...

It's thursday night but I'll be heading out with the rest of the performers in the morning to do location setup, scouting and get some rehearsal time in as well as have a pint on a sunny deck. Then overnight in Banff and travel time to the wedding friday so I won't be back into town til saturday morning.
