Well, that's really depressing. I post an admittedly boring entry, but with a promise to answer any questions you have honestly (which still stands, btw). After a week, guess how many people responded, with or without a question? Zero Naught Nil Cipher Goose-Egg Nada Zip. How much do I suck? 
I guess I'm feeling a bit lonely and abandoned. Not for any good reason -- I know I have friends, both here and in RL. I'm just bummed. Probably partly cause Mike's been gone for so long, and Amanda's working tonight, and I've forgotten a few days (not in a row) recently to take my morning meds (anti-depressents).
So, wtf, I'm going to be happy if it kills me!
I've been working on my invention today -- cutting threads. And cutting me. I've got four separate cuts on my right hand, and one of those, on the inside of my thumb, I've hit four times the same way, so it's kinda deep. <sigh> Still have two more rods to do (of 8), but I'm really pleased with how they've turned out, and am looking forward to assembling and testing this baby soon. Probably after we get back.
Back? Yeah, we're heading east. We're picking Mike up at Philadelphia airport then going to Newark, Delaware to visit the University of Delaware there. It's both my and Amanda's alma mater, and Mike is interested in it as well. We'll be leaving here on Wednesday and getting back probably on Sunday. We'll be having a brunch with Amanda's family in Gettysburg, PA, too, which will be fun.
I really haven't been doing much photography lately -- a few paying gigs, but nothing fun. I'm really hoping to get into a real studio sometime in the next year. I'm also REALLY hoping I can get a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to pursue a photography (and more) project I've been dying to do. I've started working on all the stuff for the grant application, so we'll see how it goes. I'm pretty hopeful -- it seems like a really good match.
So... not much more to report. Go ahead and ask me questions, or just say hi. Hell, you can even yell at me -- at least it would be a response.

I'm actually plannin some traveling. I'll be hitting Ohio soon to visit my Aunt, and I'm going to a few other places.
We don't have to shoot for SG, we can shoot just for fun. I don't care that you aren't a official photog. I just want to shoot with you for whatever.
The bull set was a little tricky to pull off. It looks easier that what it was. It kept rocking back a fourth and such. But I think my friend JJ did a really good job. I think we may attempt again. We'll see how that goes. but I'm feeling really enthusiastic. Even though it was rejected, I absolutely love it!!
