Oy! We shot a wedding on Saturday. Fun, but a VERY long day. We started getting set up and shooting preparation shots at 10:30 AM, and finally left the reception at about 9:30 PM. Took about 1800 shots, of which 1200 made the first cut.
I spent most of last night doing this first pass review of the shots and splitting them into areas (Getting Ready, Ceremony, Reception and Posed Shots), and reducing them to a size to post on the website. That took long enough for me to listen to most of SG Radio... which means I got to bed at 4 AM and got up at 6 AM. Art's a groggy boy today.
I've got a TON of prints I have to get out, plus clean up the garage after building the display units (still have to cover them with fabric and make the picture holders). I have to get ready for Sunday, too -- when I'll be shooting another set with the lovely Brixton and possibly another set with a FOB (Friend of Brixton
). I'll also be shooting a set later in the month with MsJune. There are a few other possibilities in the "discussion" stage, too.
I am soooooooo behind at work.
I've really got to get motivated there. But I'd much rather get caught up on the photo stuff and play here on SG
sigh
Well, back to pretending to work.

I wouldn't say courage, more like desperation. But thanks, I appreciate it. Look forward to talking with you.
