I've noticed that I seem to do my most productive editing work late at night. Like between 10 PM and 4 AM. That's cool, in and of itself, but then I have to get up at 6:30 AM to go to the "real" (i.e., paying!) job. This 2 hours of sleep just isn't cutting it.

It's hell growing old.

I started doing my taxes, and discovered that I'm missing a 1099 form. I'm sure I got it, and just lost it in the mess I call an office. But I can download the information on-line using TurboTax. Yippee. Except that it's not working. Grrr. Time to go digging, I think.

This year is gonna suck as far as taxes go. We've just payed off the mortgage (but still have a bundle on a home equity line), and the photography business has to show a profit this year to keep the IRS happy, so I'm losing the biggest chunk of my deductions. Guess I'm gonna have to make sure the photography business really does show a profit this year, not just on what I report to the IRS. <sigh>

And... today is the first day of spring! We're supposed to get 3-6" of snow by noon tomorrow. That's more snow than we had all winter. Something just aint right about Missouri weather. Oh well, at least it spared KikiBH and her goose. Pretty good picking the time between the tornadoes and the snow! Nice work!!!
