hey man...if i got paid for playin my music or for paintin i wouldnt call it work either.
unfortunately, to pay the bills i work as a stage technician/local crew. and at this time of year i definately work too hard.
it is a job that i have loved doing mostly, but we when you work 6 or 7 gigs in a week , our crew might unpack anything from 7 to 30 , 45 foot trucks rammed with sound/lights and backline..build it all then pack it away.
my enthusiam is fading though, which is why i get frustrated that i have no time to paint/jam with the band both of which seem like my only way out! surreal
i play drums if u aint heard our stuff you can here
(i build the websites too)

yeah thats all they are, sketches. it is easy to blast those out in 20 mins...they may well end up on canvas in one form or another, but i rarely know what im goin to paint before i start...so you never know!!
expect some new paintings up in the next week or so (finally) biggrin

Ohhh... I certainly didn't expect any revolution in Star Wars, hehe I did quite enjoy it though, I though he did a good job of handling the tragedy aspect and my only real gripe was why the hell he needed to bring Chewbacca into it... I mean, so Chewy knew Yoda all along? Right.... Like you, I grew up with the original trilogy and still have much veneration for them. Tunefully, I think the new Star Wars films are very different movies... more martial-art-movies-in-space....

Frustration! shouldn't have done it, now I feel like shit.
I know I have no choice, but it sucks when you see how little love is left in your couple, replaced by friendship. When what you want is a whole load of passion.

I usually only update once a week too now. I check the site many times a day, both at work and at home and reply and post comments to friends and a few groups in short bursts rather than sitting down and spending a prolonged period doing so at the end of the day for example. I guess that is one of the advantages of having a free-reign with regards to workflow where creativity is seen as something to be... nurtured. The sense of community is the main reason for me being here so writing to friends is very important to me. Oh... --and the great boobies of course, mustnt forget that
