SO.... going through trunks full of old journals is HILARIOUS. I bring you some highlights from 1997...
2/27 - the first time we partied in the VGS bus - remember behind the Ogden?
2/28 - that PZ show we have on tape.
3/8 - I saved Monkey from Korn's life. Remember that?? Hilarious.
3/15 - PZ at Herman's - you, me and Paul. Didn't Paul barf in the cab? Apparently - according to this calendar... that night was the "Best PZ Set Ever!"
Why the fuck did I do E to go to FIF at the Aztlan with the band I called (at that time - a shortlived phase if you ask me...) Petrol Sexiness.
4/5 - ate mushrooms at Morgana's.

11th - Zombiez at Ogden (apparently... Larry cut his hair...) *stalker*
15th - Painstake*
16th - Silverchair (I don't remember meeting them, but apparently we did?)*
17th - got trashed at the Cricket for someone I know's birthday. wink (shocker)
18th - the Urge with Snot and Petrol at the Aztlan (the first night we met Lynn, no?)*
19th - Descendents w/ Suicide Machines and Shades Apart (I totally forgot about them)
Who is Allo??
20th - the Urge w/ Snot and 8 Bucks at the Fox. That was the night I Held Jerry's Guitar (I can just hear myself spazzing out)*
21 - Recovered?
22 - Reel Big Fish at BB - smoked w/ Grant and Scott (another shocker)*
23 - RBF at Tonie's in the Springs (see above)*
25th - MxPx w/ Stavesacre (forgot about them too!!)
26th - Zombiez at Herman's. They played the Mountain Song by Janes that night.*
30th - Shamus at Herman's. We were apparently on the guest list as the Joint Fairiez. tongue*

Rage (remember running around the back stage at Mile High???), Failure, Bosstones, Pietasters, Shamus, Jamiroquai, (apparently on the 21st I watched the 90218 season finale. I don't even remember that show!! wink skipped a Beck show for the Zombiez (remember how much shit the crew used to give us for missing national acts for the Z's?), more Shamus, OOO!! Nuttstock!! (we went to Shamus' house? I don't even remember that!)
That's all I've got for now. I leave you with the following exerpt from the 4th of July we spent tripping balls in Grand Lake...
"Why did I just do that? I can't wait to go to another show. Did that song just do that? Dumb. She's kinda sarcastic. Bubbles are very pretty. It really seemed cool to me at the time. But now I think that writing all over this journal was a stupid idea. Now would be a good time to open my pack of cigarettes. Everything is really pretty right now."

I miss you! Are we still going to stalk Chris and Rog on the 15th? Do you have our tickets yet, or should I hook it up? I want to take care of it early since they always sell out!!
