I am so stoked! My nextdoor neighbor just gave me a skimboard to try. Every time I go to the beach I see kids jumping on skimboards and it looks so much fun. Skimboards are like skateboards for the beach. You run along the edge of the water on the sand and when a wave crahes on the shore you throw the skimboard on the water and jump on it for a ride. It's fun on days when it's flat or windy out, and SF seems to be evil windy all the time.
