I'm back from my road trip. It's amazing how full circle things can be sometimes. My first trip to Tucson was with my best friend, and her last trip out of Tucson was with me. I helped her move in to her house, and helped her move out. It was kind of surreal. The drive was pretty easy, until Saturday night. Raton Pass in the dark = SUCKS! Not a lot of fun. But we made it in one piece, and headed up to Denver bright and early yesterday. Had to chase her down for 30 miles after I realized I left my phone in the cab of the truck. BAD. But, my mom is the coolest person on this earth and chased her down just to drive right back to where we started to have lunch. i love my mom! It was the perfect way to end this adventure. Tears and sadness is not what my best friend and I are about- we're about laughter and stupidity, and that was about the best way we could have ended this chapter of our lives. I'll miss her every day, but now she's starting her new life, and one that is better for not being around her stupid, retarded ex-husband.

so, back to the grind. obviously doesn't feel like I had a weekend. So, hopefully today doesn't suck the life out of me like last Monday did.

I made a resolution to start eating better, exercising more, and just enjoying life. I can't be all the time. It's just not me. So, let's hear it for no more depression!!
