Life just sucks, sometimes. My beautiful mom has been shit on by life. She lost her job on Thursday, and last night found out her boyfriend has colon cancer, and needs surgery TOMORROW.

Hwr boss is psycho, and had made some serious mistakes, so mom can sue her for a bunch of crap and get lots of money. She has over 30 years experience in insurance, so I am sure she won't have too hard of a time finding a job, but when you're 50, most companies just don't want to hire you.

Her boyfriend is the first man other than my dad she has ever been with. They haven't been together all that long, but they are committed to each other, and this is a HUGE test for them. Just when she thought she was really happy, and things were finally going her way....SHIT!

Any good thoughts for my mom would be appreciated. You don't know me, and it's probably silly for me to ask virtual strangers for good thoughts, but I am a firm believer in the power of good thoughts, and she needs everything she can get. She's a woman of profound faith, and she will make it through, but it just sucks for her.
