I wish I wish I wish I had a door. It would make life a whole lot easier! And for those of you who don't know, I don't really have a door to my room. I have a sliding glass panel that goes up till about two to three feet from the ceiling but it doesn't help with sound insulation at all!
So what does that mean in the grand context of things? That means I can't do anything in my room without being overheard by my roommate. At all really. The main times I get my privacy is when she is out of the house which is only sometimes during the week and almost every night on the weekends (she sleeps at her bf's house). But she, she has a door and she can go in her room and talk there and I can stay in the living room and not listen to her. And me, I can go into my room and be heard down the hall in her room because there is no DOOR.
