One week later! Maybe I should just post every weekend. There doesn't seem to be anything that happens that's too interesting during the week. It's mainly work and gym and that's about it.

This week there was a 20% layoff in the company. Nearly all the qas are gone. Booo, I hate testing my own code. Heh, I've had people get after me for saying that - it's not like I don't test my own code - I do, thoroughly - but I always forget a corner case and qa are the best to pick up on those. Oh well. I wish they had a smiley for shrugging then getting on with your life.

5 day countdown! Everybody, count with me! 5 days, 12 hours, 42 minutes, and 32 seconds. 5 days, 12 hours, 42 minutes, and 31 seconds...

A much better weekend this time round. I still need to clean though (especially with only 5 days left) and I've started sanding my night table so I can stain it - but I tried staining it with oil about two years ago so I need to get harsher sand paper (I went through 4 sheets yesterday of 100 grain and only about 1/3 of the table is clean!).

And it's a lovely day today - a bike ride calls! And petting the kitties calls! And beading in the evening calls!

Speaking of beading, I find I like making the wired beads but I have no desire yet to hook them up into anything like full jewelry. Perhaps when I actually do, I'll show pictures. Heh, yes I know I should show pictures from Folsom Street Fair but it hasn't happened yet. 7 day countdown to that!

Right, off I go to start my day and enjoy the gorgeousness of it!
