Three people got laid off at my office today. Sucks because two of them were my friends and workmates. We worked well together. Boo.

I was thinking of the adage, "bad things come in threes", and there was something else bad that happened this week and I'm just wondering what the third thing will be. (I can't remember the first - heh, does it still count?) (Oh wait, yes I do, it was getting a bug in my lunch for the second time - different restaurant too - not half so bad as having people be layed off but still nasty - the first one was a half inch cockroach )

Anyway, I'm exhausted.
