Crack my head open on your kitchen floor
To prove to you that I have brains
Meanwhile tin men are led by little girls
Down golden roads that lead to nowhere
Fine time to fake a seizure
Feel your mouth on mine, you're saving me
Whatever happened to that silly dream you had?
I want to make it real
I'd love to rub your back
Like a plane crash that never hits the ground
I fall in love with you
I'm nose over tail for you
Your voice like the sound of sirens to a house on fire
You're saving me -alk3

so much good and bad going on right now makes my life feel like a yin-yang. literally.
here goes the good;

we found a lead singer. the band listened to a couple of his tapes, and decided to give him a chance,

then we found a new p.a. so that our new singer can be heard. it sounds like it's about 120 watts. perfect for our little basement. the kid only wants 100 bucks for it, and it was only used for a practice p.a. for about a month, so it's in pretty good shape.

and finally for the good news; Randy's mom stoped by with a little recording-to-tape-lind-of-thing. i have no idea what it is, but it puts our band on tape. that's all that really matters.
and now for the bad stuff;

i have a test tomorrow, thursday, friday, and monday. sounds like fun doesn't it. every class that i have, that actually has tests have a test within the next week. this is boollshhiite.

and last but not least, my bass drum peddle spring broke on me last night. so that means that i have to try to get one frm the little tiny music store downtown, that probably won't have ine. this makes me drive all the way to grand rapids for a 5 dollar part. good times, great oldies.
