So, Kevin got me on the guestlist for the Mindless Self Indulgence/ Tub Ring show. I'm stoked. Can't wait to see those guys, and see MSI for the first time. Glad to see I still have some "pull". hehe.
Girlush Figure, my ex band, pretty much bashed me in the insert of their new album. I figured I'd give it a peek before smashing into a million tiny shards of musical waste. They broke up completely before it was even released. Bravo! You sure showed me! Apparently the remaining 8000 dollar van debt in my name wasn't enough to quiet their unjustified hatred towards me -- they had to slander me as well. But c'mon -- may I burn in the hell that you create for me? Gimme a break guys -- Mr. Rogers could have done better than that. Am I right or am I astoundingly right? I'd bet on both. You should buy the album just for the hilarious one-liner. Besides, I'm sure they need the money -- noone else is going to buy that piece of shit. See, now I'm just being mean -- I actually liked the band when I was in it --not fond of the new album at all, one listen was all I could choke down -- except maybe Factory -- because it reminds me of them saying that it made them want to commit suicide -- and that would be fine with me. That, and it's kind of a cool song regardless
I'm trashing the disc, BUT I'm keeping the insert. I figure I'll pin it up on my wall, so that I might laugh myself to sleep after a long day. Fact of the matter -- they screwed me. They lied to me, cheated me, and betrayed me. They owe me more apologies than could be spoken in a life time -- and after all was said, I'd still spit in their faces. It's a mighty hungry world, and I am the teeth.
My new set is hot -- I'm sure you'll see it up here before long. Writing lots of new music. Rapture for me. My success will be my revenge -- someday. xo
