I had a date the other night....a DATE.
You see, I know that doesn't seem like a huge deal to you, but it is to me. Nobody "dates" anymore. They say "Hey wanna come over and watch gameshows, eat cheetos, and mix this vodka with whatever putrid juice I happen to have in the fridge, and then make out?" Well, not exactly like that, but you get the idea.
I had a real date.
Sushi, plum wine, a movie.....kiss kiss kissing...
Bruise bruise bruising...yeah I got a few little pretty purple places to press on....
I kind of felt guilty about even wanting to see this guy again after I met him last weekend and rolled around in potting soil with him; however, I'll consider my last entry a disclaimer of sorts for all the erratic behaviour I exhibit from day to day.
I come to realize that I can really only trust the day, the now, my feelings at present, and at present, I'd really like to see this guy again. He even visited me at work yesterday -- made me giggle and blush like a 12 year old in front of customers.
And big deal, right? Don't think I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm really not up for waiting...waiting...waiting...
Waiting for that letter that may never come. And even if it does now, who says I'll care to read it.
