i am so proud of myself! my personal redemption came today in the form of a swedish couple at my work. i informed them, as i had with the previous customers, that i am studying swedish, only this time, i actually managed to say a few things. the man said, "vi ses i sverige" -we'll see you in sweden. i replied "frhoppningsvis" -hopefully! its such a small thing, but it made my entire day.
