i've got a full-fledged cold. it started on friday morning, so i think its a combination of allergies to whatever pollens portland has that are foreign to my body and the smoking of way too many cigarettes. lack of sleep and too much drink probably didn't help. i hope i didn't get anyone else sick, though.
i'm starting to get the moving itch again. i have never lived in one town/city for more than 4 years, and my 4 year anniversary in seattle is Oct. 8th. i thought i'd be okay with that, but i'm not.
on top of that, i have lived in this state my entire life, except for one year, when i lived in the next state over but right on the border.
my friend leif who lives in new york is trying to get me to move there. i said, "i want to come visit first." he replied, "okay. as long as you don't mind me cutting up your return ticket." and i really don't think i would mind.

for some reason i feel that's important enough to pay money at an internet cafe in scotland to tell you, even though i know you already know. really i should go to sleep :-)
