my half brother is flying in from texas next week and i'm really excited to see him again. he'll only be here for a month, but i only get to see him about once a year, so i'm trying to get as much time off work as possible to hang out with him. unfortunately, the boss's daughter seems to have already requested off a bunch of the days that i want. oh well. he's coming back for christmas this year. that should be interesting; my dad and his wife are wiccan nudists. ha ha.
i'm kind of hoping to bring him with me to gay pride this year, but for some odd reason my dad didn't seem too thrilled with the idea. i think it would be good. last year when my little brother was here, he shocked my by saying that being gay is bad. it was all i could do to not yell at his mother for that. anyway, as i see it, it is my duty to make sure that he doesn't grow up as close-minded as his mother is, and that would probably be a good way to do it.
