i should be nursing a hangover right now, but somehow i'm not. i purposely got pretty trashed last night. i didn't have to work today, so i went out to meet some friends during happy hour as i sometimes do on wednesday, and when they left to go to chop suey, i went with. i think i only had one vodka collins and one long island (i got a third and abandoned it after a few sips) but i hadn't really eaten all day, and i hardly drink anymore anyway. i ended up talking to some guy named dave who seemed to think i was pretty special. hopefully he realizes today that a long conversation in the haze of alcohol does not a friendship make. 
on my way home, i kept on finding myself diverted toward things that smelled good, like vines in an empty lot and fresh posters on a wall.
then i saw, across the street, a friend's band's drummer, so i yelled to her, and she made me jump in the car and get some food with her and 3 other girls. that was so wonderful it was horrible. 2 of the 4 girls have flirted with me, and were flirting with me. 3 of the 4 are hot as hell. and then there is me, thinking "would it be fair for me to have all of them?" i still can't decide! what can you do in a situation like this??

Example: "i went out to meet some friends during happy hour as i sometimes do on wednesdays, and when they left to go to chop suey, i went with." What else is there? Overpriced shows that end at 10:30? There are practically ordinances against being under 21 here.
OK, I'm gonna go crochet and look dour now.
But I'm also super shy, so I'd better take a few months to get over the last 20-30 new people I had to deal with first.
