OMFG I've been a sick mofo ALL week. Temp like 103 early on. Missed work. They were stunned--like, uhm--"You've never called in sick before. You better keep your ass at home." And what sucks is I had a GREAT freaking weekend. Then by Monday nite I was in fetal position on my couch frying eggs on my head while the rest of my body was shaking from chills. M-T-W I got like 4 hours sleep a day over the ENTIRE DAY. Not just at nite. Was the weirdest freaking thing. I think I was hallucinating at times. I would just lay there in a semi-concious state and just kinda veg. I would almost be asleep and then my eyes would just stay open. I was so exhausted I like didn't even have the energy to TRY to sleep. Know what I mean? Like making the effort to sleep would have been too much. I think I was using less energy in my coma-like trance. I think it maybe was like one of those Indian sweat boxes that makes you see your ancestors. But all I kept seeing was, and I swear I'm not shitting you, was like this collage of the scariest scenes out of the scariest movies I have ever seen. It was like this never-ending trailer of an Exorcist and zombie movie loop. And I wasn't even asleep; just kinda there...After a while I was just begging one of the zombies to eat me and get it the fuck over with...
