Today was my last day of school. I had a crit with my drawing 200 teacher. i received a B+.
This month has been crazy. Being in school full time and having a part-time job doesn't really mix well.
My final projects for painting 200 and drawing 200 went well, but my intro classes where tough. I was stuck in sculpture; i didn't know what to make for our assemblage piece. two days before the crit i made a completely new piece. it was such a relief to finish it. I think my teacher liked it. print media was crazy hard. My last project was a self portrait done in linocut. (Linocut is a variant of woodcut, in which a sheet of linoleum (sometimes mounted on a wooden block) is used for the relief surface. A pattern is carved into the linoleum, with the raised (uncarved) areas representing a reflection of the design to be printed. The linoleum sheet is inked with a roller (called a brayer), and then impressed onto paper or fabric. The actual printing can be done by hand or with a press.)Thankfully Ive only cut myself once in that class. The project was hard due to the fact that we had to use THREE COLOURS! THREE! I think mine looks like butt.
This how we have to do the three colours:
-First you cut out whoever you want to be white, then print the first colour. -Second you cut out whatever you want to be the first colour, then print colour #2
-Third you cut out whatever you want to be the second colour, then print colour #3
oh and you better have done the registration (a-lined the paper) right otherwise itll like butt (like mine)
I think I had 2 prints that didnt look like butt, we were suppose to have 4 prefect ones.

Despite the fact that this semester was so hard and excusing , I wish it didnt end. I really enjoyed my classes, even print media! I cant wait for FALL! I might be taking a summer class. Oi I wanted to take intro to creative writing ,but I never correctly filled out my transfer credits for English ; I forgot to sign the stupid paper and the chick didnt check. So Ill have to try again or take an English assessment test O.o OR I could take Japanese maybe I think it requires a test too O.o regardless Ill have to ask someone Friday, while Im at the school.
I've been so tired lately sleeping as much as i can, which bothers me because i don't remember my dreams, so to me it's wasted time. I think i'm going to start a dream diary to try to remember my dreams.
What else is wroth mentioning? Hmmm

ate lots of chocolate!
and hunted for chocolate! also made my dustbunny hunt too, i spoiled him<3

Hey guess what? This is a message that's not a reply! I hope you had a nice weekend. I only got one day off, so that was not cool. And I had plans to go to the school library to do an assignment, and I decided to go get my nose pierced, but both plans went to shit. The library was closed (which is bullshit because in April they were open on Saturdays) and my piercer wasn't in on Saturday. So I did nothing but take a long 3 hour nap in the afternoon, which ruined my body clock because I couldn't get to sleep at night and today I had a really tough and long day at work setting up a new big sale.
