Let me first say: I wasn’t there. But I’ve heard from many members I trust @inkedodie, @imnotferris, @romous117 that an SG live stream featuring 3 incredible women @olgakulaga, @shameless, and @krissi got wildly out of hand due to some disrespectful members.
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. This is not ok. And it is the responsibility of SG staff to take care of this issue. Hand out bans like you are fucking Oprah. Get mods for the streams. Something. I’ve been going to lives for a couple years now and seen some shit. I get upset on behalf of the models- and many of our girls go into these things with insecurities in the first place (Oh the life of an alt!)
It’s one of the reasons I don’t go to lives much anymore. That said, my inner circle, including the members and models tagged above, was largely built from live streams. Getting to know these people has been an honor and privilege and I can only hope the streaming glory days are ahead of us- not behind. But this, combined with constant tech issues, don’t leave me much optimism.
Consider this an appeal or a call to action- please SG, get this thing figured out to make this the safe, respectful, and encouraging place we all want it to be.
