Sometimes when browsing through our favorite sets it is easy to get caught up with the models and their incredible sexiness, but the art of the photography sometimes seems to take a back seat. I'm here to change all of that. On Saturdays I am dedicating a blog to the models and promoting sets that make me feel a certain way and starting today I will be doing that on Fridays for a photographer to take that spotlight. @arthemis!! She's had 2 sets in the past few weeks (and another one that came out this morning) that have brought a thousand smiles to my face and after browsing her history, it came as no surprise that some of my established favorites from the past year have also been shot by her. I mean no disrespect to the other models or sets that don't make my top 5 Arthemis sets, but I only have so much space. I highly encourage you to check out all of them- and like and comment accordingly.
1) @satrinna in Drive For Me
currently at 1782 hearts and about 3 months in MR. I distinctly remember the reaction I had the first time I saw this set. The eye popping vibrance of Satrinna's hair against the bright sky. The contrast of the neutral white shirt to the plaid skirt and even more layered to the black panties underneath. This is not only one of my favorite sets of Arthemis, but one of my favorite sets of all time. Let's get this to 2K quickly and help get this beautiful lady back to the front page!
2) @jaade_ in Love in the Bedroom
Currently at 1063 and released just 2 weeks ago. This is Jaade_'s second set shot by Arthemis, the other one is just as good by the way! The thing that caught my eye immediately through most if not all of these sets was the variety of backgrounds used. In this set alone, there are pictures using the patterned wall you see above, the window and curtains, the love seat that she is sitting on, and a beautiful bright rug directly underneath where this photo was taken. All produce a unique feeling and take you through an immersive story through the set.
3) @anaclara in New Neighbor
Currently at 1821 Hearts in just under 2 months. My favorite thing about this set is the facial expressions. In most of my comments you will find me talking about a vibe or a tone that I receive from the artist. A lot of that comes from the looks a model displays. From playful to seductive. From intimate to funny. And everywhere in between. This set gave me the seductive vibe IMMEDIATELY. I don't know whose decision the expressions are, but it was captured and conveyed perfectly.
4) @biia in Uptown Folks
Currently at 1724 hearts in just 3 Days. I want to see this as SOTD! I talk about telling a story through a set. One of the ways to do that is through transitions. Taking you from one "stage" of the set to the next without interrupting the flow. This set perfects that concept. From the initial image to the final photo every image moves you along in a chronological journey that makes the viewer feel like he/she/they are there.
5) @avril in Sexy Barbie Metal
Currently at 1915 in 5 months- let's get this set to 2k and maybe even turn this babe PINK! This is all about theme. Look at the above picture and tell me how many things scream out metal barbie?! The black nail polish, the skull earrings, the tattoos, the dark lingerie with wrist sleeves and choker, the eye shadow. And that's just in this photo alone. Talk about a VIBE! Again, I don't know if the decisions made here are model or photographer, but Arthemis certainly accentuates the details vividly.
