I have been going back and forth on whether to weigh in on the current situation the website and community is going through. I have lost a few favorites to departure and archiving. And I fear more will follow. I understand where they are coming from, and I truly wish the best for them in the future. I hope our paths cross again. And I will not comment on how management handles things because it is not firsthand knowledge for me. But I do hope that they understand that it is the hearts of the people- models, photographers, and members that drive the success of this site and do their very best to keep those people happy (And yes, I know it is impossible to keep everyone happy)
With all that said, "The darkest nights produce the brightest stars" -John Green- and there is no shortage of bright stars shining out of this darkness. I have been browsing through the threads searching for positivity and have found a couple examples that really make me smile and believe in the potential of this community:

And it warms my heart to see SGs and SGHs alike supporting and encouraging each other. I want to highlight one that seems to embody the spirit of community: @mily is constantly lifting people up, sharing her time and energy with us all and it certainly doesn't go unnoticed.
I want to finish by saying that I truly love, respect, and admire every single person that comes through this website because I know we all desire the same outcome: a better community.
