Fallen behind on updates. Again. I've been writing and just pushed the fledgling novel over 52,000 words. In my head the story is about 3/4 done so it might need some padding during editing. I would like to finish the fiction story and, I hope, get it published. The nonfiction work I published is a specialty book and it sells only rarely but it finally sold enough copies that I received a royalty check. Sure it was only $20 but the fact that I received royalties was way cool!
Work has been great. The project is enormous and the potential for failure is high yet the stress level is so low that I forgot we were going live when I walked into the office on 07/01. I heard nothing over the long weekend - no complaints, nothing blowing up, etc. Looks as though we're off to a good start! I hope that we generate the anticipated savings and can reduce customers' health insurance costs as planned.
Thinking of becoming a trained meditation facilitator. The leader of my sangha is taking on five or six students for a 12 month program of development and learning. I think it would be a great way to learn more about the "lists" of Buddhism and help others stay on the eightfold path.
