Decided to hit the road on the Buell the fifth of July. It's me pop's birthday so I think I will take the back roads up north and hang out with him while the sweetie takes the kid for some fun times at Elitches. I am hoping that after that the offer that I have been working on for the last fourteen months will come to fruition and I can complete my exit strategy by the end of August. How nice would it be to have a job that you custom designed for yourself - down to how to measure its success. . . Should be pretty easy to be successful. Besides, while my former employer can be real shitty to work for sometimes they did think that I was a rock star - which is why they have been allowing me to dictate what it would take for me to come back. Of course, fourteen months is a long ass time to negotiate.

Hope that everyone had a great June. Although mine marked yet more year on this round ball we call home it was pretty good. I am looking forward to July and, I hope, new frontiers by the end of the summer.
