Well, Erik just announced the closing of Buell Motorcycles. . . 25 years of making the only American sportbike and the year that they win the AMA Pro and Daytona pennants and the company is shuttered by Harley Davidson. Buell was a truly innovative motorcycle company - developing some innovations that have found their way to BMW and other high-end marques. It's an ignoble way to end a great run as the only maker of American sportbikes. Not really sure how I feel about this. . .
