x-mass time again, I am having a hard time believing that an entire year has gone by. I remember when I turned 25 I promised myself that I would do everything in my power to make the second half of my twenties more positive & productive.
One year into the fight and things are looking good, come Jan I will be working full time at night as a mental health counsellor, and part time during the day at Ikea. Personally I am more in love with music / writing / photography now then I have been in a while.
It has been very interesting being single for the last year, it has giving me time to learn to love myself and realize that "expectations" should not be part of a meaningful relationship.
On a less serious note, I took part in my first ever x-mass tree party, it was a great time spent with close friends, I suggest this to anyone who has not yet gotten into the x-mass sprit. This weekend coming up is again a birthday weekend, both Fri., and sat - I cant fucking wait, plus I have to work on both the morning afters, good times.

She sings acapella, and is looking for backup. She calls it folk, I call it jazzy. She sings such songs as The Casual Sex Song and a really catchy one called Balance Pole. I have no idea what the other performers play. You're welcome to come, of course! That's the point of advertising it in my journal.
