i've been having the strangest dreams lately. last night was filled with so many bizzare threads i woke up with only jumbled pieces and a feeling of discontinuity. i was having dreams that if i were younger would have scared the crap out of me. but i found the strange child like intensity entertaining, even during the dreams. i watched adaptation last night and i think it might have incited some deep dwelling brain gremlins.
i got the bead i special ordered for my vertical labret. i was expecting it to be jet black, and its really far closer to grey

it's still cool, but it does not have the contrast i hoped for.
the job search here is bleak, if i luck out with my contacts in portland, i'll be heading back. i miss it there like crazy, it's where i've been happiest in life.
it's like ten degrees outside, i'm trying not blow through what little i've manged to save so far. cabin fever is setting in!!

but really it's about this auther that goes north in search of a story about a local healer. things are strange there and her family is abusive. It's a really good book. I THINK.
