last night is what life is all about.
Roll into a friends place at about 9.30 or so, pour some drinks, play guitar for half an hour before we head out to another party. get to this party, and it's pretty low key, just people getting wasted listening to the beatles having good convo, good feel to it. meet friend down the street as he didn't know where they lived. smoke a doobie on their stoop. all of a sudden the most insane northern lights i've ever seen start to play over the skyscrape of ottawa. it lasted only about 3 minutes, but it was really really crazy. after this we decide we need food, so we head down to the elgin street diner and we all order les poutine. <as a side note there was this one waitress with this crazy sexy mohawk who should be a suicide girl. she was definatly beautiful, and i probably fell in love haha>then we take off and head back to our friends house in the city after a little joy ride with our DD. listening to some good lucero <god i love that band> . get back, and smoke some more doobies, have some more drinks, play some more guitars and then started to play this card game called yaniv or something. just a simple little game that can keep you going all night. anyways, next thing you know its 5.30 in the morning, so we head outside into the backyard armed with more doobies and drinks and talk until the sun comes up. by then we were all a little goofy. and it was good.
in short, just the perfect summer night.
